Avenue Literary Services was founded in 2019 as a response to the frustrations felt by promising writers – particularly writers of color – who were challenged by the uncertainties around what it takes to publish a book. They found the book industry difficult to navigate, inaccessible, or a space reserved for the elite or lucky few. At Avenue Literary Services, we see publishing as a possibility for all writers. Because we know the publishing landscape, its people, and its trade secrets, we ensure our services are comparable to the highest industry standards. On the Ave, our community of writers is left inspired, void of barriers, and placed in an optimal position to reach their literary destination.

Avenue folk include writers who:

  • Have a defined book concept and are ready to level up
  • Need help with writing, editing, developing, and polishing a book for publication
  • Seek guidance on conceptualizing a book or navigating the book publishing landscape
